Vegan Baileys Irish Cream *swoon* If there has been one booze item I have missed since going vegan, it was Baileys.
I think I want Tesseractive's babies now.

YAY! It just occurred me a couple days ago that since this is my first holiday season as a vegan, it would be my first without Bailey's and I was kinda sad. But now I don't have to be sad! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm glad that someone had the sense to finally made a vegan Bailey's recipe that didn't include some sort of coffee flavor blasphemy.
... I'm going to have to buy some Irish whiskey.

Geez, I've never posted anything that's gotten this much buzz on the forum before. Goes to show: the PPK can knock em back with the best of em.

Tesseractive, your vegan Baileys recipe made my decade. Seriously !
The only thing I've really missed going vegan was Baileys. My nutso Irish family loves to party and Baileys is always a reminder of good fun and tradition for us, especially around the holidays. And now Baileys is back in my life ! Yaaaay !
Baileys vegan cupcakes.....OMG that would be amazing ! Post recipes please !!

I made some of this last night- it tasted good right out of the bowl, and all that tried it thought oh of course it'll taste even better cold, so I poured it into a cleaned out bottle and popped it in the fridge. A few hours later I came back to it and poured out a shot, and it tastes weird and bitter! It's still drinkable if I thin it out with vanilla rice milk, but there's deffinately something wrong. Is it just supposed to be drunk immediately? It was a disappointment because my girlfriend and I were thinking that it would make excellent presents...

Oh oh..... Tesseractive will have more experience with this.
I made it for the first time a few days ago but we used it up right away.
Did you give it a good stir before using it? Coconut milk always settles/separates.

I think it's better at room temperature, I've never chilled it for a long period of time, I usually mix it up and serve it right away. I have a carafe I use for it. Coconut milk can separate weirdly. To drink it cold I usually put it over a couple ice cubes.
