sorry, dude.
i completely relate. when i was living in "what's tempeh?" texas, there was a thread about "what does portland need?" and the first thing that popped in my head when i read the subject line was: "to shut the fork up already!"

Alright, let's add....slice of vegan pizza weighed down by its toppings.

maybe a better wording is "made gross and inedible to weight of its toppings." and then we can add "it's a beautiful pizza, we're looking at you here."

I had a slice here this weekend, and I have two things to say. 1) Everything is mysteriously better made 'by the slice' here, which does not flow with the idea of pizza making. 2) I could have eaten my slice with a spoon.

Oh my god, Bete Lukas.

Thanks, Molasses! I'm trying to stop repeats while we're still only on half the list, so I kept off places that are already on there.
Ethiopian platter - after much though, I didn't pick a restaurant, since there are so many yummy places to get veggie platters from, ie. like the Indian food from a cart above. But if there's a specific dish on a veggie platter, let me know!
I'd say Eggplant Tibs from Bete Lukas, for sure...

10 days until I'm in Portland. Seriously, I am going to be the fluffiest vegan ever.
I did go to Bye and Bye when I was up there signing my lease last weekend and my born-n-bred Southern partner declared the bbq platter authentic Low Country Cookin that was worthy of sharing with his mama.
This is one list I can stand behind.

Blackberries picked in a public place, like a park or the side of the road.
