I finally got some last night.  They were delicious.  The end.

Re: Candy cane Joe-joe's

I bought a box of these tonight. For the first time. They're so forking good. Oh man.

I'm torn between wishing I'd bought more and being very glad I didn't.

I think i'm going to make cookies with some of them.  Like those oreo cookie cookies that i've seen people make where basically instead of chocolate chips (or maybe in addition to), you use broken up sandwich cookies.

You should also make some candy cane buttercream and make sandwiches out of the joe-joe cookie cookies. Am I blowing your mind yet?

That mint chip is so good.  We had some last week and I commented to Nate that it was the best ice-cream ever.  Make those for the cookie swap.

Re: Candy cane Joe-joe's

Man, I saw them in Union Square, the line was huge, and Brooklyn Heights is on my way home anyway... but Brooklyn Heights ran out this morning! If I do not procure Candy Cane joe Joes tomorrow, it will be a huge, giant waste of a weekend.

CANDY CANE JOE-JOES!!! I have some every single day. They are so good. My mom bought three boxes, but I don't think that'll be enough.

Re: Candy cane Joe-joe's

Out in Union Square.  They had a sign though.
Also, $3.99 a box seems high compared to last year.  The regular ones are $2.49 and I think that's what I paid then.  I may not get Joe-Joes this year.

Re: Candy cane Joe-joe's

I...did not pay that much.  I think they were $2.50?  Definitely not $4 because when we got home I remember looking at the receipt at commenting that they cost about the same as oreos.

Re: Candy cane Joe-joe's

I am aghast.  They are charging more because it is NYC.  I am definitely boycotting joe joe's this year.  And NYC.

Yes. My mom told me she would buy me cookies, and then I handed her 5 boxes of Jo Jos. She said she couldn't believe I made her spend $10 on cookies.

I hope some already rich CEO is adding another 2 inches to his giant asparagus pool of money from the overcharge they are doing here.

I just had my first ...well about 3 today, haha. Trader Joes wasn't sold out for once. I was also making truffles, so I coated the joe joes with leftover melted chocolate. YUM.
