Vanilla Fudge

I've been thinking about making a vanilla, maybe oreo cookies and cream style fudge for a while now and I think I have a rough outline for what I want to do.. the only thing I'm not sure how to replace are the white chocolate chips. Most of the fudge recipes I'm coming across have a vanilla base before the addition of chocolate chips, and the only plain vanilla fudge recipes I've seen use white chocolate ones instead. I don't have access to buying them online at the moment, and I'd really like to come up with an alternative.. Any ideas? I promise I'll share the recipe if it works. smile

Re: Vanilla Fudge

I always just cut up a block of sweet william white chocolate which is found in the healthfood/allergy section of my local safeway.

Cookies and Cream style fudge sounds amazing yikes

Thank you, that looks like exactly what I need! Do you know if they'd carry cocoa butter at Whole Foods or somewhere?

Re: Vanilla Fudge

A quick google gave me a ton of recipes, non of which used white chocolate chips (though some used marshmallow fluff). This is easy enough to veganise and looks like what I'd do for vanilla fudge (haven't actually made any in a very long time). Wait, are we talking about fudge here or something else?

Ummm. We didn't just hold hands. In fact there was Papa Johns garlic sauce involved when we both "coincidently" had to use the restroom at the same time. The door lock really didn't break causing the 45 minute long event. Just thought you should know. -psycwon

I pm'ed my address. Tuesday's fine, I'm in no rush--I've been mulling over the idea for a while now and was just trying to get started. Thanks again! <3

Thanks for the link, it looks like a good recipe but I'm kind of searching for the more milky, creamy, white kind of fudge as a base. The marshmallow fluff isn't a problem though, I have access to Ricemellow.

I have no idea what you're talking about then, but good luck!
