Oh man, that looks delicious. I never loved bbq until I gave up the real thing. Now I crave it and that sandwich looks like love. I can't wait until summer party mode.

I really need to get some soy curls. That looks fantastic.

the chips kinda make the whole plate bbq-transcendant.

Looks great! What chips are those?

Perfect meal. Sweet potato chips make everything 110% better.

Nice work Kaitejayne! I love soycurls. How did you marinade the SCs?

Thanks for all the nice comments. This is how I made it:
Soaked soy curls in hot water for 10 minutes, drained them in a strainer.
Put them in a pan over medium high heat with a little bit of oil, cooked them for maybe 5 minutes.
Added some Trader Joe's bbq sauce and cooked them with that for about 5 minutes.
This plate is reheated leftovers, I sauteed the leftovers in a pan for a few minutes and added more bbq sauce for part of it.
The chips are Trader Joe's sweet potato chips and they are super great. I love them.

I've been meaning to use more soy curls lately, and I showed my boyfriend this photo last night and asked him if he'd eat and he said "hell yes...wait no...wait yes". the end result was complimentary!
