This is awesome. You clearly do not suck.
But if by "everywhere" you mean the plate, you can try putting some strips of wax paper between the plate and the cake. That way after you frost, you just slide the wax paper and mess away, and you have a nice cake on a clean plate. If that's the kind of thing you're into. I'm not suggesting you need to. Just sayin'. This one is obviously great just the way it is.
