I'm sorry for the lag in posting this mosaic! I traveled, my computer cord started eating itself, and now I'm down with some sort of cold/laryngitis thing.

It was a giant winter radish, according to the person who sold it to me at the farmers market. It tasted like a stronger, spicier radish.

Totally. I stuffed my face with whatever they put in front of me. I also had the gnocchi with black kale and sun-dried tomatoes. Aaaand chocolate dried cherry bread pudding with bananas and vanilla ice cream. Amazing. It's probably a good thing I have to drive a while to get there.

We were sad that they were out of the desserts we wanted and had to end up with the banana split. But that banana split was the best damn thing I'd ever had! The homemade whipped cream... I can still taste that now. And their seitan... I'll never forget that perfect, ideal seitan. Ever. It was so close to my dad's house, too- now I'll have to think up excuses to visit CA!

I'm still trying to figure this out! A lot of beige/brown foods are... a bit unappetizing... like, would you guys want to see a mosaic full of gravy? Wait, maybe that wouldn't be so bad...
blue is impossible, I have very few blue foods.
white/off-white would be doable... maybe a black and white mosaic? I'll see what I can do!

I know- this just shows me that I personally have a blue food deficit that I have to rectify! Anyway, I'll get to work on the brown/beige and white/off-white mosaics...
