The Cinnamon Swirl Loaf of my Childhood...

This is like the food of my childhood.  My mom always made it on Snow Days.  On really messy days I remember eating it while playing Super Nintendo.  Today, I finally got around to veganizing it.

Bonus shot of the crumbly topping!

Ooh yum! Is it sort of coffee cake-like?

I've never actually had coffee cake so I'm not sure!  It's not as dense as my mother's recipe (which was more like banana bread), I would say this is more akin to the texture of a cake.

Thanks for the link!  My mum used to make this too and I've been thinking about it lately and wondering about veganizing it so I'll try yours---like your mum, mine would also drag the knife through to swirl the cinnamon.  can't wait to try it.

You really think it's cool for you to hit the sauce with a bun in the oven?
