Than vegan soft pretzelssss!!!
Soft Pretzels!!
Soooo good! Very excited about these.
Even eating only part of one, it feels like someone dropped a huge ball of dough in my stomach and salted my insides. But worth it.
With cheezy sauce
Bonus cookies!
Stack o' Oreos
Powdered Cream Cookies, sans chocolate-dipped coating since I'm out of chocolate

Oh and here's my recipe for the pretzels!
2 1/2 cups warm water
2 packages of yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
8 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Add yeast and let sit for a couple minutes.
Stir in flour and salt, then knead for 10 minutes. In a warm place, let rest in bowl, covered with a towel, for about 50 minutes, or until doubled in size.
In a large pot boil:
6 cups water
2 tablespoons baking soda
Grab a hunk of dough and roll it into a long rope, then twist into a pretzel shape, then stretch out the holes of the pretzel so it retains its shape. Repeat with all of the dough.
Drop 2 at a time into the boiling water/baking soda mixture and boil until they float, about one minute. Transfer to greased cookie sheet, wiping up any water with a napkin. Salt liberally (preferably with coarse salt), then bake for about 13-15 minutes @ 475F degrees, or until deep golden brown. Enjoy on their own or dip in your favorite cheezy sauce!
Makes 6 gigantic pretzels or more if you make them less gigantic.
