I went to the mailbox just to check, but I knew it probably wasn't there since my delivery estimate was Oct 13-16 and today is the 12th, but it was there! I got really excited and ran inside with it and the package was hard to open so I pretty much ripped it apart and then I got it out! I reallllly had to go to the bathroom and take my combat boots off, but first I stood there and read the whole thing cover to cover! It is amazing Isa and Terry!! I love love love all the pictures!
Now, what should I make first?(!!!) I s'pose I should get some non-hydrogenated shortening sometime soon for frosting, but in the meantime EB will have to do.
I love it! And now I get it when Isa said "cupcake sized".

Yay!!! Mine came 1 day before the estimated delivery date too, it's extra exciting when things come early!

I need to see if my B&N has it yet. On Sunday they said they hadn't received their copies yet.

I waited until Tuesday to order mine cuz I ordered a DVD set that just came out on Tuesday at the same time to get free shipping from Amazon. Estimated delivery date was listed as October 21st.
It arrived yesterday - less than 48 hours from when I ordered it!!
Now to make my list for when I go grocery shopping Sunday so I can start baking on Monday.
I wish I knew where I put all my cake decorating stuff, though. Back in the 1980's I spent a fortune on pastry bags and tips and other Wilton stuff. We've moved to FL and back to NJ since then and I have no idea where the box with that stuff is.

i got mine from amazon friday! i just ordered it on, like, monday, or something insane.
i just picked it up from work (where i had it shipped) and i came home and read the whole thing cover to cover before going to sleep and after working 13 hours.
it's gorgeous and amazing and i love it.

The bookstore hasn't called yet...so disappointing. I'll probably drop in there tomorrow anyway to check the status since I'll be in the 'hood.
